Here’s my run for the Hot Chocolate 15K this morning - with so many people at the start, there was no going too fast (always good to not get caught up and burn out in the first few miles) and I maintained an awesomely consistent pace!
My thoughts about the race and its directors are pretty consistent with everyone else - poorly organized, etc. So I’m not going to go into that, but my run was good, I feel good about it. It was great to meet Jess again though - sad that it was so crowded I didn’t get to meet anyone else!
Looking forward to taking a break from racing for a bit - I have the Jingle All the Way 8K next Sunday, but that will just be a fun run! Next BIG race is the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Miler in April (I love working for a credit union with guaranteed entries :D)
