Marathon Training: Week 7
Instead of a schedule this week, I’ve got something else planned… since I end up hating Mondays most of the time and skipping my workout and then feeling awful and starts my week off horribly. I’m trying a different approach this week. Enter:
So every time I run a mile or do a workout, I can fill in one of those stars. Hopefully it’ll be good motivation. :)

Great day so far. :)
Spent the morning drinking coffee and watching the Olympics, then headed to bikram yoga, brought sandwiches home for Roswell & I, and now I’m curled up on the couch watching the Olympics again while doing laundry. Running later tonight when the sun starts to set.
Happy Sunday.

Why is running SO hard lately? Not even running, just getting out the door for a run.

I hate the Tumblr app...
It randomly crashes constantly. And that’s only after its taken 10 minutes to load the photos if it loads them at all… Ugh. I just wanna read everyone’s posts and look at everyone’s photos :( Grumpy heather is grumpy. I should just go to bed.kk

July 28th DC Do Life Run & Breakfast @ Burke Lake... →
The meetup is coming up next Saturday! Please RSVP via the Facebook event in the DC Do Life Movement group :) Hope some more people can make it out to hang out with Erica and I! :)
I’m thinking if you want to run/walk 2 loops (9 miles), meet at 8AM. If you only want to run/walk 1 loop (4.5 miles), meet at 9AM. (I typically make it around the lake in about an hour.)
Ugh.
Overslept and missed my running class… :( tired.

I hate my shoes.
I’m getting new running shoes this weekend. For sure. I know that a lot of
my issues didn’t start until I started with the Nikes and I tried to
attribute it to changing my running form but the problems are just getting
worse and new ones are cropping up!
Hmmm… but now to what kind of shoe?

Apparently my retail therapy should have waited...
Until after I found out that wasn’t being chosen for an interview for an internal position at work - it might have been more soothing.
I just don’t know how much longer I can do this.

Marathon Training: Week 4 Recap
I didn’t know exactly what would happen this past week with the
power outage and such, which is why you didn’t see the plan last week.
But I’m pleasantly surprised that it was one of my best weeks. Now I
just have to keep hold of the momentum.
Monday 7/2: Power outage… ended up moving the cats over to
my parents home since they got power back on Monday. Tuesday 7/3: Rest...
