If you don’t know this about me yet, you should: I absolutely love Indiana Jones. He was partially my inspiration for getting a second major in anthropology. He’s also my one agreed-upon “freebie” with Mr. B. (Just to clarify, it is Indiana Jones NOT Harrison Ford.)
I love Indy. I love all things Indy-related. I’m a total Indiana Jones nerd. And I’m darn proud of it.
I feel similarly. HOW COULD YOU NOT?
He’s got the intelligence and style down:
As well as the brawn and adventure:
To conclude: YES, PLZ.
I’m totally right there with you ladies! Love me some Indy!

can we say frustrating? I’ve gotten really lax with everything lately and I have no excuses. I mean, I’ve got ‘em but they’re not going to change anything. I’ve been dreading the scale for this reason.
What I can do better:
Eat more veggies! Eat less junk!
What I’m proud of:
Making the right decision regarding the job offer and taking steps to finding the job I do want.
Roswell set a goal for me to hit 150 by New Years. I’ve been struggling to hit this goal for months now. So I’m going to look back at what was working for me back in the spring when I felt like the weight was falling off. Baby steps, baby steps.
I now care little about my weight (though I’ve lost a bunch), I am the happiest I’ve ever been, and on Sunday, I learned that I can run 26.2 miles without walking a single step. And apparently I can smile the entire time.
You know what my priorities are when the only items I’ve packed for this weekend are my running shoes and clothes… Still need the dress, shoes, wrap to wear to the wedding, which is the purpose of the trip!
Thinking about this race on Sunday, December 11th… One of my sorority sisters, who I haven’t really talked to in a while, emailed me and asked if I was interested in joining a team with her. I guess this is what happens when you start posting your runs on Facebook.
Last year, I ran my first half marathon as a St. Jude Hero!! It was an AMAZING event that impacted me greatly. So many of you were extremely kind to help in the fundraising efforts and we raised $1,000 dollars to help the efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the families who…
Was kind of in a funk all day (… not really kind of, definitely was). I don’t even get me started on what happened at lunchtime (it involved the Target Halloween Candy clearance aisle). So I was hoping that Zumba would bring me out of my funk, and it did - still not 100% but it definitely helped. :)
I officially think I can’t run with Roswell (/anyone else) anymore (at least for right now). I try to run too fast too quickly and I get side cramps. Once we split off and I was able to settle into my 12:00 pace, they went away and it was a pretty easy and enjoyable run.
So a few months ago, I was a loyal stairs taker all of the time. Then my office was moved from the second floor to the fifth floor in September. Since then I’ve stopped taking the stairs and feel much lazier. So one of my goals for November is to start taking the stairs again - I hope it helps!
